Exodus 35:4-9 ( New International Version)
Moses said to the whole Israelite community, "This is what the LORD has commanded: From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze; blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; ram skins dyed red and hides of sea cows ; acacia wood; olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.
It is the olive oil that keeps the lamps burning in the Tabernacle.The Lord Jesus talked of this 'oil'' in the Gospel of Matthews Chapter 25 where He said the "wise-virgins" had oil in their lamps whereas the "foolish" ones didn't. It's Christformation in you that will keep the lamp (your born-again spirit) burning with the eternal testimony of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Matthew 25 (New International Version)
"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
"Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!'
"But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
All those without this "Olive Oil" that could keep their lamps burning with the anointing of the Holy Spirit through Christformation in them, the Lord Jesus Christ said " He did know them"
We will have to "buy" Christformation with much tribulation. We must be willing to obey the Holy Spirit to work out our salvation( willing to carry the cross of Christformation) with fear and trembling and making every effort to add Christformation into ourselves.
