They Were Indignant

Matthew 21:12-16

Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.  But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant. “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”

Do you see what the chief priests and the teachers of the law were indignant about? They were indignant about children praising the Lord Jesus Christ with the praises " blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD" They didn't like to hear this, especially from children who were innocent. Well, the Lord Jesus Christ replied to them by saying, "children and infants will praise God" for my coming to this earth! You won't be able to stop what God is doing. God will be praised by the innocent. You cannot stop those who are innocent. You cannot stop them when God Himself has opened their mouths to praise the Son of God. How can you shut what God has opened? They were indignant at this. The infants and children were doing the right thing, while the chief priests and the teachers of the law were throwing their tantrums at the Lord Jesus Christ who was being praised by these children. What a upside down world of fanaticism!

Welcome to the diligenthands of the Christformation prophet

Welcome to this prophetic writings blog that warns and saves lives from eternal condemnation as a result of continual sinning. Overcoming sinful living is the objective of the prophet. Diligently writing down of every timely warning to avoid catastrophic disaster by the fruit of our sinful living.

The fierce wind that blows away the bad fruit may also unintendedly throw to the ground, good fruit because they grow on the same ground. If forewarned, the good fruit could safely grow on solid ground and be well guarded and escape the wrath that they don't deserve.

Amen.
