So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.' "Luke 17:10

What Has Straw To Do With Grain?

Jeremiah 23:28-29
Let the prophets who have dreams tell their dreams, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the LORD. "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

What has the sinful nature of the Devil to do with one who believes in Christ? We are chosen to be overcomers of the sinful nature of the Devil in us. The word of God is like fire and hammer to burn and hammer away the sinful nature of the Devil in us vigorously. The word of God must be preached and taught the same way the Lord Jesus Christ and the ministers of the early church did faithfully. It should have brought in conviction of God the Holy Spirit to turn us away from living a sinful life. Instead, money- making techniques and coaching by coaching gurus replaced the word of God which was supposed to be like fire and hammer to turn us away from greed, covetousness, pride arrogance and other misdeeds of the sinful nature of the Devil in us. It's not enough to turn someone from one misdeed but let them grow in another. If you live by the law, if you break one, you break all of them. All the misdeeds of the sinful nature of the Devil must be put to death within you.

Matthew 3:7-12
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?  Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

What was John the Baptist preaching here? He was warning them that they should stop all that claims of who they are and to which group or race they belong to. Talking about Abraham is talking about a race. They were claiming that they belonged to Abraham's race. But, John reminded them that God could raise up a new race from these stones on the ground, if He wants to. And that a special race too. He warned them that they should cease boastiing about their claims and produce the fruit befitting their believe in God. Show it with your lives, not with your words, he reminded them sternly. He further warned them that there is some more coming- the burning away fof the sinful nature of the Devil in them after they have believed in the One who is coming after him-the Lord Jesus Christ. He said by the power of God the Holy Spirit, they will be able to put to death the sinful nature of the Devil within them. The Lord Jesus Christ has come to do away with the misdeeds of the sinful nature of the Devil in ua who believe in Him. Are you ready for this, he asked them? Then, stop all that you are claiming who you are on this Earth.

Christ must be formed in you....

Welcome to the diligenthands of the Christformation prophet

Welcome to this prophetic writings blog that warns and saves lives from eternal condemnation as a result of continual sinning. Overcoming sinful living is the objective of the prophet. Diligently writing down of every timely warning to avoid catastrophic disaster by the fruit of our sinful living.

The fierce wind that blows away the bad fruit may also unintendedly throw to the ground, good fruit because they grow on the same ground. If forewarned, the good fruit could safely grow on solid ground and be well guarded and escape the wrath that they don't deserve.
