The curse of distorting the word of God is terrifying
because God views it seriously. It shows that you do not fear Him. You practice
no reverence of Him. You feel you could do anything, anyhow, the way you like
it to be. You do not make every effort to know and submit to His will. You just take
the short cut of bringing in the tricks and trade from the world and adopt it there. You think you
will not be questioned. “Who is there to question me”, you always asked. That's your own distorted version of being 'successful' in this world not what God says.
But, God allows you to go to the limit He has set for everyone. By then, if you do not turn to Him, He will turn against you. That’s how it has been all this while. Think about, Noah’s, Lot’s and the seventy-year captivity times recorded in the Old Testament. Didn’t the Lord Jesus Christ remind us that in the last days it will be like in Noah’s time again? Why Noah’s time again? Aren’t we supposed to be more civilised after existing 6,000 years or so on earth as humans. Why the same grief to God? What causes God that same grief now? He wiped out the world in His grief during Noah’s time. It was very painful for Him.

However, the Lord Jesus Christ went and preached to those
who perished during the times of Noah when he was missing from the earth for
three days and three nights after His death on the cross. That is the merciful
nature of God. We are sure all of them could have been saved through His
powerful preaching there, right in the centre of the Earth. What is causing Him
the same grief even after all these years of revelations of Himself to mankind?
Yes, the maturity of the sinful nature of the Devil in man. This has always
remained the same. This alone has never changed. Man would still prefer to obey
the sinful nature of the Devil in them even after they are revealed the divine
nature of Christ. It’s about the same spiritual blindness, deafness and dull mind that had
existed even after many stern warnings from God.
What is the distortion about today? Why is it so serious a
sin? It’s about turning God’s people back to the worship of Money instead of God.
It’s back to the sin of idolatry, as in the times of Moses when he was facing
God on the mountain. God asked Moses, “Do you know what my people are doing
down there right now at this very minute you are talking to me”? “They have made an
idol and are worshipping it even after I have revealed myself to them after
leading them out of Egypt miraculously”. It’s the same story today.
Someone is responsible for turning them back to obeying the
sinful nature of the Devil in them instead. Someone has turned them to
spiritual adultery and unfaithfulness to God. It’s hurting God because their
trust isn’t in God but Money they trust in. This hurts God. Yes, we need to
survive but its more than survival now. It’s greed. They have become champions
of greed. In order to produce champions of greed, you would need coaches of
greed. We have those many now. All in the name of survival but graduated and crowned as trainers
to bring forth the greed and covetousness in God’s people. The subtle intention
is to bring them back to idolatry. Very neatly done before men, to feed what would
please the sinful nature of the Devil in the people.
But, it is not so with God. He knows the deception and He forewarned
of this. Even the very elect would be deceived because it will be very appealing
to the sinful nature of the Devil within man. The curse, let’s talk about it.
What happens when you resort to doing this? This distortion of the words of God
is to suit the pleasing of the sinful nature of the Devil in God’s people. Let’s look at these verses below and there are other passages too.
Revelation 22:18-19I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If any one of you adds anything to them, God will add to you the plagues described in this scroll. And if any one of you takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from you your share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
"Take away your share in the tree of life" means that there won't be Christformation in you. "And in the Holy City" means in the holy city that is being made at the presence of God, where you will not be a citizen of. Your name will be blotted out of the lamb's book of life because you were brave enough to bring the devilish wisdom of this world into God's chosen people in Christ. Remember how the Devil distorted the words of God to Eve and then to Adam. When God said, "you will die" the Devil deceived them easily saying that " they would not die". Think about the eternal condemnation of the Devil here for distorting the words of God. It is a very serious matter with God, even now it is so. You have subtly misled many into sinful living. What do you think you deserve from God?
Romans 8:13
For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
