Colossians 3:1-4
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
From the early days of my walk with the LORD, the passage above has been my actual motivation to draw near to Him. I always sought the LORD about it's deep meaning. I knew I had to obey Him fully to understand this deep truth about my position in Christ. I also knew that this passage is going to shape my entire walk with Him on this Earth. The struggles were there all the time in understanding this passage clearly. This question always popped up in my mind,"how to?", whenever I tried to understand it's true meaning. It took me years of walking closely with Him to understand this truth. The day I was revealed that my position in Christ my Lord had everything to do with my obedience to Him in these verses, was the day I began my earnest search. "Set your hearts on things above.....set your minds on things above" where Christ is seated at the right hand of God says it all. What's there for us at the right hand of God, where Christ is seated? One, we are hidden with Christ in God in the highest position and the Devil can only roar at you from below. Two, we set our born again spirits (new-self in Christ) and the renewed mind which is transformed into the mind of Christ, fully obedient to everything Christ had commanded so that our imperishable body being constructed at the right hand of God is fully Christconformed too. This body is hidden from everyone's view, except God the Father and His Christ. Only The LORD knows how much our imperishable body is Christconformed now. No one else knows. The Book of Life will be opened to show what had transpired secretly in the sight of God and His Christ. We bet you, there will be terrible gnashing of teeth by those who have been thinking that they were greater on this Earth, to find out that they have all the while been detestable in God's sight.
Matthew 25:29-30
For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
