Ecclesiasties 6:7
Everyone's toil is for the mouth, yet the appetite is never satisfied.
The appetite of the sinful nature of the Devil in you is never satisfied. It justifies itself for survival but ends up with excessive greed. Remember what the Devil deceived Eve with? That appetite has no limits. It doesn't care about others. It only takes care of itself because the greed is just too much. It justifies itself with the need but ends up with more greed. It puts up a fight as though it is fighting for the rights of others, just like Eve was fighting for the rights of Adam from God, but the appetite is directly from the sinful nature of the Devil for selfish reasons. Selfish ambition darkens the soul with selfish urges and desires that are eventually self-destructive. Only time will tell. You may not be able to see it now, but eventually you will. Anything that they do is done out of the appetite of the sinful nature of the Devil in them but, they would justify their actions as though they are very clever and everyone else is suppose to be stupid. All their actions will be frustrated by the LORD because, it's coming from the sinful nature and the LORD knows it. You can camouflage that appetite with all other 'clever' names and descriptions, but you will be frustrated in the end. When your appetitte is selfishly big, you would make a lot of unnecessary noise around you, warning others to "stay clear" because you have a bigger appetite than theirs. YOU WANT TO BE HEARD! All that noise comes from the overwhelming appetite of the sinful nature of the Devil in you AND IRRITATES OTHERS AROUND YOU but, you do not care about others next to you. You only care about yourself, just like the Devil.
1 Corinthians 1:19-20
For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." Where are the wise? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
