Exodus 12:13
The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
We remember this all eternity, that it is God who strikes. We can strike someone but it won't achieve anything. but when God strikes, it will be the end of something. But, before He strikes He wants to see some distinction first. The distinction comes from the power of the blood of Christ in you.
Revelation 12:11
They overcame him ( the Devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death
'Egypt' is the Enemy of the cross of Christ. These are those who live as the enemies of the cross of Christ or those who dare to declare themselves openly to be the enemies of Christ through their actions by obeying the sinful nature of the Devil in them instead of obeying Christ and living by the power of the blood of Christ. These are the ones who refuse having the divine nature of Christ formed in them and have openly declared themselves to be the enemies of Christ by turning to please the sinful nature of the Devil in themselves instead
Phillipians 3:18-19
For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
