Jeremiah 11:7-8
From the time I brought your forefathers up from Egypt until today, I warned them again and again, saying, "Obey me." But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.' "
Do not get tired of being warned, if you do not get tired of sinning. If there are countless sins, there will be countless warnings before the warning stops forever. Once the warnings stop, that's it, it's all over for mankind. Until then, there will be countless warnings. Take serious heed of these warnings. There will be repeated warnings for a stubborn people who keep deliberately sinning repeatedly. As long as you do not admit you are repeatedly sinning, you will be repeatedly warned. If you do not get tired of repeatedly sinning, we will not get tired of repeatedly warning you. The warnings will be repeated to you again and again until you know that you are sinning repeatedly. Repeated sinning calls for repeated warnings. If you do not give up your evil ways, we will not give up warning you until the LORD Himself orders us to stop. When we stop at His command, then we know that the end is near. When we say the end is near, we mean that maybe the LORD wants to take over from there. When He takes over from there, we know something bad is about to happen or else He won't take the trouble to repeatedly warn someone. The very reason He had commanded us to stop the warnings would tells us that He is ready to act. In Bible history, we have seen the LORD doing this over and over again. If you are not tired of going against Him and His word, He can never be tired of showing you the consequences of going against Him. If you insist in continuing in your sins even after many warnings, there will approach a day when the LORD will call it 'a day of vengeance'. If you take Him and his warnings lightly, He will take you on seriously someday! When that disastrous day comes, it would be better not to be alive to see it.
1 Peter 4:17-19
For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
