Revelation 3:12
All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write my God's name on them, and they will be citizens in the city of my God -- the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And they will have my new name inscribed upon them.
It's not that easy to be citizens in the city of our God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. They have to be victorious first. Victorious over the sinful nature of the Devil in them. This is when the Lord Jesus Christ will "write God's new name on them". What is writing God's name on them? Is it that easy to 'write' God's name on them? Writing God's name on them means ownership. You belong to God when you have Christ's divine nature formed in you. If you do not have this divine nature of Christ formed in you, you do not belong to Him. You have to overcome the sinful nature of the Devil in you first by putting it to death. Until then, you still belong to the Devil. You see God's new name will be 'inscribed' upon them. How will someone be inscribed with God's new name , except through Christformation in the born again spirit? Even though we are on Earth, our eternal bodies are being constructed in heaven according to the proportion of our obedience to God the Holy Spirit on Earth. The 'Parable of the Sower' in Matthew chapter 13, tells us this. God the Holy Spirit brings into remembrance everything Christ had commanded us. Through our obedience to Him, we have Christformation in our born again spirits. That Christformation in the born again spirit will bring about the proportionate transformation of the sinful mind into the mind of Christ. All these will translate into our Christconformed and imperishable body in heaven proportionately too. We become citizens in the city of our God in heaven, the new Jerusalem by our obedience to everything Christ had commanded while He was on Earth. We become the temple of God the Holy Spirit on Earth first, before we can become a pillar in the Temple of our God, meaning in the Temple of God the Father and His Son. Temple of God the Father and His Son is Full Christformation in us. We have eternal life when Christ's divine nature is formed in us. We will never leave Him, as long as we have obeyed everything He had commanded us.
John 14:23
Jesus replied, "All those who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and live with them.
