1 Corinthians 1:27-29
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
In order to nullify the things that are already existing and that which throws it's weight around too much by boasting, God chooses things that are not heard of. He nullifies or makes them into nothing even without lifting a finger at them, such is God's power over man. These things that He uses to nullify easily, may be things that are lowly and despised in the eyes of the wicked. God does not tolerate any of his created beings to lift their heads too high to boast or show off their strength or power on Earth. It will be just a matter of time He brings about something that will dispose off the proud and arrogant. What the wicked consider foolish, He will make it wise. What the wicked consider weak, He will make it strong, too strong for them to come against. The wicked who think of themselves too highly, will suddenly appear to be the fool. The wicked will be placed in such a corner, they would not be able to do anything. God will demonstrate His power on this Earth, whenever the right time comes for Him to do so! Always remember Pharaoh, whenever you forget that He is still around to watch all that you are boasting about. Your arrogance will soon be stumped. Shaming those who keep claiming they are strong or wise has been God's work all through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. He does this with the use of even a donkey. He used animals to teach the whole world a lesson during the floods of Noah's time. There were numerically more animals saved than humans. Only eight of them were saved from the flood. The large Ark that was built was to house the animals not humans. Noah didn't need such a huge Ark for his family but he needed it for the animals. God uses anything and anyone the wicked despise to teach them a lesson. Another times like Noah's is fast approaching.
Psalm 75: 4-10
To the arrogant I say, 'Boast no more,' and to the wicked, 'Do not lift up your horns. Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck.' " No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. In the hand of the LORD is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs. As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob. I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.
