Edom may say, "Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins." But this is what the LORD Almighty says: "They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD. You will see it with your own eyes and say, 'Great is the LORD--even beyond the borders of Israel!'
The Wicked Land where the sinful nature of the Devil is practiced without any restraint. This is where the Devil has his headquarters in this world. Where every form of sins and abominations are invented with no fear of the LORD. They don't like to be told off. They don't like to be warned. They like living in the grips of the sinful nature of the Devil in them. Stubbornness and rebellion towards the LORD is their way of life.They hate the LORD and all His ways. They rebelliously choose to disobey the Lord Jesus Christ and everything He has commanded.They choose to live in sin. Every sin has it's roots from there. The LORD has crushed them with curses after curses but they continue on in building their land of sin. How rebellious! How wicked! There is no land on this Earth which is as evil as this land. the Wicked Land. They are a people always under the wrath of the LORD. You are going to see more in the coming days with your own eyes! At that time, many in this world will shout out saying, "Great is the LORD".They have been patiently waiting for such a day as this to come. It will finally come soon! Talk about greed, covetousness, worship of money, lust, gluttony, pride, arrogance, hypocrisy and violence, it's all there! Every evil practice is found there.The have evil pride in promoting themselves as a Wicked Land. Demolition is on it's way from the LORD. They won't be able to see it coming their way this time. Very long overdue is their judgment from the LORD. They bravely use the name of the LORD because they thought that Jacob and Esau was born to the same father Issac, therefore, they could live anyhow they like. They keep on claiming their birthright which were already decided way before they were born into this world by the LORD. The Devil also does that even though he is already condemned by the LORD forever and ever. Like Judas Iscariot, they still want to be around the Lord Jesus Christ until they will betray Him openly.Sons of perdition! They only bring shame to the LORD with whatever they do, don't they ever learn it? Their end will also be like Judas Iscariot's.

Not only that, but Rebekah's children had one and the same father, our father Isaac. Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad--in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls--she was told, "The older will serve the younger."
