Matthew 25:34-46
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
Those who appeared as weak to you because you thought you were stronger and more powerful with the things of this world are going to decide your eternity. It won't take another stronger person than you to determine where you are headed to but one who is weaker than you. You may have or will even take this advice lightly, but this will be the truth in the end. You may think that your friendship with the world and those who are powerful as you imagine yourself to be, will help decide your eternity but they would not be able to save you because they won't be able to even save themselves from what's coming, what more you. This lesson, you are going to learn it soon!
It will be the weakest around you that may save you from eternal punishment but you will be blind to this truth till the end. The weakest around you will decide your eternity for you. If you are given an eternal opportunity to respond to, do it now! Your understanding of Christ our Lord is marred by your greed and covetousness of the temporal things of this world. You think that you are very powerful but you are not, you are going to learn this eternal truth in the most disgraceful and eternally shameful way. The passage here addresses you as the wicked of this world and you do not know it, because you have been blinded by your own wickedness. You thought that you were the most powerful one, but God is going to prove to you that you have been the weakest one all this while and you didn't know it. You imagined yourself to be higher in position than the rest. You thought that you were the wisest in this world but you had been the most foolish one, you will learn. Pride and arrogance took hold of you in it's grips and kept you in bondage to the sinful nature of the Devil in you. You are being tested and you did not know it. You thought that you were "called" to be a champion.
The weak will decide your future not those who think that they are mighty and strong. God will use the weak to test those who think that they are already powerful and have the pride that none can shake them from their 'established' position. You will not know that you have been tested already.
The answer to the test might come shortly. Before you'd know it, all that you have trusted in; maybe your human strength, human wisdom, accumulated wealth, your pride in this world will all be taken away from you. Sometimes, even sudden and shocking deaths may occur to you or your loved ones.
So, stop the boasting in the things of the world before it's too late again. No matter who you are in this world, take heed!
1 Corinthians 1: 27-31
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
