Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
God never fails those who trust in Him. Those who trust in the wealth of this world will eventually fail. Those who boast in the wealth of this world will surely fail but those who trust in the LORD, without having the need to trust in the wealth of this world will never fail. They might be successful for a while and boast about it but, every temporal thing they put their trust in will fail, one by one. It is safer to put our trust in the LORD and wait for Him to answer than trust in our own strength or wealth that passes away, suddenly.
Those who hope in the LORD will succeed in the end. Let's wait patiently and see the end of everything that make their boast in the wealth and things of this world. Their evil boast comes from the sinful nature of the Devil in them. It gives them pride and arrogance in the way they carry themselves around. If they do not feed and nurture this pride and arrogance in them whic comes from the sinful nature of the DEvil in them, they would die the next minute. They survive on by nurturing such pride and arrogance in them or else there is no meaning or purpose for them to live on earth. That's how shallow and hollow their lives have become. They will do everything to fight and keep this pride and arrogance within them at all costs.
1 Timothy 6:3-10
If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
