Galatians 4:19
Christformation in you is just like the formation of a white stone pearl in a lack-lustre oyster, hidden on the bed of the deep blue sea. Though the outer shell of the oyster is of no precious stone value, just like our bodies that will be destroyed by physical death, the actual and eternal value in us is the Christformation that occurs in our born again spirit.
The only way this could occur in you is by your personal obedience to all that Christ had commanded. Each time you choose to obey Christ with what He had commanded, you are allowing the "pearl" to grow in you. The word of God, as you obey it, will eventually bring the shine of the divine nature of Christ formed in you, like the pearl. Just like the oyster takes in lots of pain to have this white stone formed in it fully, apostle Paul says; it takes lots of pain. like the pains of childbirth, to eventually see Christ's divine nature formed in you and me. It will take lots of obedience to God's word on our part to witness full Christformation in us.
Remember, how can your mind be transformed into the mind of Christ, if you haven't obeyed all that He had commanded you?
2 Corinthians 4:7-18
But we have this treasure in jars of
clay to show that this all-surpassing power is
from God and not from
us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not
abandoned; struck down,
but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of
Jesus, so that the
life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to
death for Jesus' sake, so that his
life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in
you. It is written: "I believed; therefore
I have spoken." With that
same spirit of faith we also
believe and therefore speak, because
we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also
raise us with Jesus and present
us with you in his presence. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is
reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow
to the glory of God.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet
inwardly we are being
renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles
are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is
unseen is eternal
The Lord Jesus Christ said that the "white stone" would come from Him when you overcome the sinful nature of the Devil in you. That would mean, as you put to death all the misdeeds of the sinful nature in you and obey everything He had commanded, you will have His divine nature formed in you. You will have Christformation in you. What about making every effort so that there be found in you, full Christformation. Only you, God the Father, His Christ and His Spirit will know if you have Christformation or full Christformation in you. It remains a secret until the end of all things on earth and the present heavens, just like the pearl in the lack-lustre oyster is only known when it is fully grown.
Revelation 2:17
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to
the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will
also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him
who receives it.
