John 7:37-39
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,streams of living water will flow from within him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
These streams of living water come from within the born again spirit. We know that the born again spirit does not easily come into everyone. You must be thirsty, truly thirsty. You cannot put up an act of being thirsty and come to Him. You will still be thrown into the lake of fire. What is lake of fire material will eventually be thrown into the lake of fire. That's where they belong for eternity! Those with the streams of living water continually flowing from them will not be thrown into the lake of fire. They are not material for that fire. 'Streams of living water' means being led by the Spirit of God. Those who are led by the Spirit of God all along their journey on this Earth are not material for the lake of fire. If you are not led by the Spirit of God even though you claim you belong to Jesus Christ our Lord, then be ready for the lake of fire. You have confirmed yourself to be material for the lake of fire, even though you were given a fair chance to avoid it. You preferred obeying the sinful nature of the Devil in you instead. You chose that pathway to destruction yourself, even though He provided you with a new Way. You must be born again in order to be led by the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God only leads the born again spirit towards obedience to Christ our Lord. He leads the born again spirit to all truths about Christ our Lord. We must obey His leading. But remember, you must be thirsty for His leading in you. Do not come to Him, if you are not thirsty for His leading. He will only lead you towards obedience to Christ our Lord and not further into sinning or obeying the sinful nature of the Devil in you. God the Holy Spirit will not lead you to the Devil but to Christ our Lord. We will have the divine nature of Christ formed in us as a result of His leading. For the Lord Jesus Christ said," I am the Living Water". When you choose to "drink" means that you chose to obey Him. When you obey Him, you will have Christformation in you. When you fully obey Him, you will surely have full Christformation in you.
Romans 8: 9-14
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation--but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
