For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God's words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth."
Who is this woman? Who does she represent? Where is she headquartered? What does she do? All these questions will be answered in a short while. "Giving the beast their power to rule" what does that exactly mean? Mystery! Mystery! Mystery! But, mystery will be unraveled. The next one will be the AntiChrist (don't ask us more)! Never mind about the Antichrist, his life span of evil rule will be rather short. He will be wiped out forever after that. But, what about the many antichrists? They are already here, welcoming and heralding the coming of the main Antichrist. That Antichrist will be nothing without these many antichrists. Are we ready for this? Do we really know who they are? They may not be far from you. You would have least expected them to be one. You will be shocked to know who they are, when they are finally revealed. There are some clues given; they are those who practice and obey the sinful nature of the Devil in them. The sinful nature of the Devil will come into maturity in them as they continually live obeying it's urges, passions and evil desires daily. There will be a sudden burst of outward power and authority over others just like lighting a fire-cracker that produces sudden and unnecesary noise. It will appear with a show of material prowess outwardly. supposedly displaying and demanding control over others. This will not materialize with God and His people in Christ who have Christformation in them.
Daniel 8:25
He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.
