On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed--God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from men, not from you or anyone else. As apostles of Christ we could have been a burden to you
They are just putting up an act. A class act. It's all about their god: 'Money'. Money is their actual God. Whatever they do and say it is circled around money. Nothing else! All the acting and disguise is for swindling all the money. They are filled with greed and covetousness. Their mind is always filled with the thoughts of how they could steal, cheat, swindle, rob, manipulate accounts, mismanage accounts, deceive, raise up the prices of things, amassing wealth by hook or by crook. They misuse and abuse His Name to cover up their greed and covetousness, as though He told them it's okay to be greedy and covetous. How evil? How wicked? How rebellious? Now is the time to go after them! You can justify your evil actions with the world, but not with the Lord Jesus Christ. Your lifestyle is in contrary to His, even though He owns the whole universe.
Watch their lifestyle closely, while they profess the Christian faith. Pompous, luxurious, extravagant, show-offs having many properties under their names,wife,children, parents, grand-parents, nephews, nieces, etc. etc. Driving big and luxury cars. They even boast about these openly when they gather. Shame on you! No different from those who do not know Christ. Their stubborn excuse, Christ told them to live luxurious and fulfilled lives. Why are there still so many poor people around then? The whole world is filled with it. He only told you to be rich and the rest to be poor? "You are righteous, so you are rich" is that what you are saying? Not, you cheat so you are rich? Who are you trying to fool? What about all the poor people in the world? so. you mean to say they are not righteous as you, so they are suffering? These rich ones are to be blamed. They are responsible for this situation of many being poor and they themselves rich. They are no different from the world. They only feed themselves and their families. They want to live a life above the rest and feel grander in the eyes of sinful man and woman like them. Always trying to justify their sinful lifestyles, by saying God told them to be rich. How long have you been putting the blame on God when He never told you to do these things? Show me where in the Bible and we will show you how stupid you and your family have become. Including all those foolish men and women around you who say "yes" to you and "no" to the LORD and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you truly belong to Him, then obey what He has commanded.
Luke 16:13-15
"No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.
