James 5: 17-18
Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
People who start resorting to outward expressions of their anger have lost out in prayer. People who resort to outward expressions of their jealousy have lost out in prayer. That means God does not hear their prayer anymore. They know that truth about themselves and God, therefore they react outwardly. They know that they cannot get their way of doing things their own way without throwing their childish tantrums everywhere. They want everyone to know that they are angry for a 'good' cause. Actually, they are not! They just want their way. Spoil child- that's what they are. We reiterate, GOD DOES NOT HEAR OR ANSWER THEIR PRAYER ANYMORE. These are very frustrated beings. They show their temper around. Just like how they reacted to the Lord Jesus Christ and brutally nailed Him to the cross and killed Him but, He mightily resurrected from death after three days and three nights. Just like how they persecuted and killed some of the the twelve apostles of Christ, (minus Judas Iscariot and adding apostle Paul to that list). How they reacted to all the true disciples of Christ like Stephen and the rest through out history shows they have been frustrated. They are still frustrated. They know God does not hear them anymore. They want to show their anger outwardly, like as though they are doing something good. They are not! They are just spoil children throwing their tantrums around. How about when it is God's turn to show His wrath to them. Can they take it? Well, you can't avoid it. It's coming anyway! Be ready to fight Him. That's for sure, you will lose out completely! Eternal condemnation is the path you have chosen for yourself. You cannot declare war with Him and still continue to live on. The lake of fire has been reserved for such!
Jude 1:10-16
Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals--these are the very things that destroy them. Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam's error; they have been destroyed in Korah's rebellion. These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm--shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted--twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him." These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
