Matthew 7:24-27
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."
Build your life with obedience to everything Christ had commanded and you will be that wise man who built his house on the rock. Build your life with disobedience to everything Christ had commanded and you will be that foolish man who built his house on the sand. What is this "house on the rock"? The "house on the rock" is Christformation in you. What is this "house on sand"? This is the house void of Christformation in you. The "house on the rock" is built upon the divine nature of Christ whereas, the "house on sand" is built upon the sinful nature of the Devil in you. The "fall" into eternal condemnation or your strong foundation for eternal life is based upon your obedience and disobedience to all that Christ had commanded. The "fall with a great crash" is eternal condemnation. Yes, you do not like to be condemned for your sins, but why do you still disobey everything Christ had commanded? Why do you still stubbornly and rebelliously obey the sinful nature of the Devil in you, instead? If you do not like to be condemned for your sins, then you should obey everything Christ had commanded. Why aren't you doing that? Why is it taking you so long to obey Christ? It doesn't take you that long to obey the sinful nature of the Devil in you, right? Why is it for Christ alone, you have to be told over and over again? Rebellious, right?
1 John 3:19-24
This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
