John 17:12
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gave me I have kept , and none of them is lost , but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled .
Being so close as one of the twelve apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, did it change the son of perdition? No, it didn't!. A son of perdition will always be the son of perdition till the end. The Lord Jesus Christ even had him sit and partake at the Last Supper with Him, did it change him as the son of perdition. No, it didn't! Judas returned evil to Him who did all good towards him. What was the outcome of this, he hanged himself! There is an eternal price to pay for being a traitor! A betrayer of trust will eventually meet with his end with no return. Judas Iscariot met his! What about others, do you think the Bible has mentioned anyone else to be the son of perdition. Read the Bible verses below to find out.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-5
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God,
or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
Is the Antichrist, the son of perdition, the only one now? From the time of the first son of perdition, Judas Iscariot, to the time of the Antichrist, there will be many other sons of perdition too. Where does it say so? You could read about this here in the Bible verses below too. You will realize that you cannot be an antichrist without being a son of perdition first.
1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come ,
even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
