Jeremiah 15:19-21
Therefore this is what the LORD says: "If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them. I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you," declares the LORD. "I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel."
There are some things that are simply worthless in the sight of God. They have zero worth in His eyes but yet they are considered of worth in man's eyes. Lake of fire value with God but highly respected by evil men on Earth. You can't blame them if they are blind, for they have been made 'blind' that way. Some from birth have been made 'blind'. Some even before birth have been made 'blind'. They cannot see the difference between what has worth and what has not.. What is worthless they will consider it to be of worth, and what is of worth they will consider it worthless. How can one appreciate worth, if one haven't come to their senses yet? How can one appreciate worth, if they are 'blind' and 'deaf' and have refused to come to their senses? They are stubborn and rebellious towards the LORD and His words. They do not seek to obey everything Christ our Lord had commanded but they seek to obey the words of a fool who speaks worthless words. Whose worthless words can be matched to the words that come from the Lord Jesus Christ? The words that come from the Lord Jesus Christ gives eternal life when one obeys it. You cannot have eternal life by hearing it alone. You must live according to those words of Christ. You must obey it. There are no short-cuts to that. Many seek short-cuts and after a while they will feel disillusioned. This cycle goes on viciously. They never learn their lessons. They are never freed from obeying the sinful nature of the Devil in them. They continue in them, even though they have been warned strictly against it. They don't see the point in doing so. They just can't!
2 Timothy 3: 1-9
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth--men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
