Matthew 20:28
....just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
No one can be compared to the Lord Jesus Christ. Not anyone from the start of creation until today!
There is no one qualified to match Him. We can talk and talk and continue talking, but in action, no one can ever match the Lord Jesus Christ. In that verse above is everything about Him. We can talk and try to convince everybody that we are good and everybody else is bad, but there won't be anything that we can learn from you. It is all self-centred. Everybody wants to be a boss. Everybody wants to be treated as the boss. Many want to be treated as the 'big boss'. Big boss of this and big boss of that... that is what they are after. All this they do to feed their bruised ego. How it got bruised, only God knows? It might have been bruised through a relationship, a failure in life, neglect, rejection, self-lack, self-limitations, an emotional handicap or even through abuse of sorts. So, they want to be a boss, a leader, a big boss, a BMW car owner and so forth. Either one or more of these, feeds the bruised ego. They would need more of these things, when it is bruised more. In fact, in our entire life, we have not met anyone without a ego to nurse and nurture. A poor thing!
The Lord Jesus Christ came for none of this. He did not come to be nursed of His bruised ego. He had zero ego. How do we know this? By the words He spoke and by His actions and deeds. When He said He came to serve, He meant it. Some of us say we want to serve but, we end up being served by others. The Lord Jesus Christ, from the day one He stepped into this world until the day He ascended up to Heaven, when His time on Earth was up, He served in every sense of the word. He meant it! He died for our sins, not His. No one had or would do this! He also came to give. No one could give as He did. Many claim they came to give, but they end up taking or receiving. The Lord Jesus never took or received anything from anyone. He gave and gave, and finally gave up his life for us in death. He is the perfect example of service and giving. No one on this Earth can match Him ever. He truly came to serve and to give. He never was served but He served. He never took or received, but He gave. Our eyes must be fixed on Him. Our trust must be fixed on Him alone. Don't take your eyes off Him for any reason. He is the true SERVANT of God and the GIVER of eternal life. No one can match Him. Absolutely no one!
Don't be fooled by those who say they are servants of the LORD when they are not. For a long time now, this has been going on. We were on the sidelines watching as God watches too! We have long felt that we will one fine day, crush this enemies of Christ. For a long time now they have been allowed to masquerade as servants of righteousness freely. They didn't know they are being watched closely too. The time has finally come to put things right. Now is the time to act upon them with finality. They have been taught many lessons by God silently, but it seems like they haven't learnt their lessons well yet. Maybe, now will be God's appointed time for them. They have never been tested with true strength. Now they are about to be tested to the maximum. To see who is actually stronger. They have always been in the delusion that they are stronger but now the true test of strength comes from God Himself to them. We have been sent here for this sole purpose. We welcome the test of true strength. Come on, bring it on now. We have been made prepared for this long, long time ago. We only waited for God's right time to do this openly. We are ready. We know you are not, because you are in disarray. We know every truth about you. On the outside, you seem alright because that's the picture you potray about yourself but we know you. We know how weak you are actually. Your are rotting inside. You will find out soon.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
