2 Chronicles 32:7-8
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles." And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
Don't worry if the world with it's evil influence flex their muscles and try to intimidate us who truly seek the LORD and serve Him only. Do not be afraid of them. Their words or their actions. They have no power whatsover to stop God's work on Earth. Think of the Lord Jesus Christ and His disciples. How the world tried to stop the eternal work of God. They could only stop them temporarily, for a short time only. Finally, they found the right match. After that, they would have to bear the eternal shame and disgrace that no one could wipe out the evil etched on their face forever. Even if they cried out loud, God would not hear them. Why do they continue being evil, plotting and scheming evil towards others even when they are warned. No fear of God, it's that simple. But, when God 's time comes to answer them, all their tears will not remove their curse from them. That day is fast approaching!
For now, they may appear 'successful' before the world with all their evil schemes but not for long. God has been waiting for this, for a long, long time now. His time has finally approached. His day of vengeance and year of retribution is here, coming fast! They have walked into it this time. Welcome, to see God's power in action. All these while, you have been showing and displaying how powerful and influential you are, now it His turn to show and display His power and glory on Earth! You are finnaly trapped in your own actions. Don't think you have the size and the power. Don't dream anymore. You are going to see God's power demonstrated through a small number. Very small and insignificant number. You are going to cry out loud and nobody will be there to save you. Here ends your evil!
Ezekiel 2:4-10
The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says.' And whether they listen or fail to listen--for they are a rebellious house--they will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious house. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you." Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me. In it was a scroll, which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.
